I have been sewing a loooooooooooooong time.. 40 years.. My husband bought me a sewing machine the first year we were married [I really didn’t know how to sew,ha, but had the ‘want to learn” back then.ha].. I basically learned to sew by making simple wrap around sun dresses for my new baby girl. I sewed almost all of her clothes. and she loved it. I didn’t sew alot for myself, just an occasional church dress. Then I found Sew weekly in 2010 and did the challenges with Mena. And I am so thankful to her , for getting me to “sew for me”..It has been so fun..
I still sew lots of kid clothes.. I have 4 grandaughters.. so the little dresses keep coming.
It is so nice to have a sewing blogging community , that has the same interest, As none of my friends sew..
    Thank you for the giveaway.

Hmm. Letssee… I’ve been sewing since 1980. Started with hand sewing/embroidery, moved on to doll clothes, and then graduated to big people clothes. So, it’s been about 32 years since I started learning to sew. It’s an ongoing process, I think. You never stop learning new stuff!
