Hi/ Lo Lace Drape Front Top For The Beach

06/04/2013

This is a top I made to go over my black crochet lace style bikini which I’m not confident enough to show you a photo of.
However, my daughter loves it too, and she has ‘stolen’ it from me.  It was simple to make. I used a BurdaStyle pattern I had as a basis and I just drew a new hemline.
I have been finding a few of my sewing projects missing lately, and with a quick peek into my daughter’s room I found a few of them lying on the floor.
I guess they have her seal of approval!
Here is a photo of the Cowl Top Pattern I hacked to make this. I wonder if I fall for the actual patterns of Burdastyle or just the styling? Their photos really do look chic!

When your daughter starts taking things out of your closet, you know you’re doing it right 🙂

I love that your daughter is helping herself to your sewing projects!:) It’s a cute top, I can see why she “borrowed” it.
