Mod 60’s Fabric Pinny

10/26/2013

turqpinkpinnie2This is my favorite pinafore yet! I had just enough of this fab 60’s fabric to make only one pinafore dress. The thickness of the fabric is the perfect weight for a pinafore. These little dresses are best in a  slightly thicker fabric. It’s available in my shop and is size 6 months. It’s lined in pink cotton. I used some of my wooden buttons I bought at an estate sale and the dress is lined with pink cotton poplin.

I almost didn’t post this but it’s only the second dress in my shop and I don’t think I have had any page views.  Starting an Etsy shop feels a lot like starting a blog. There is a whole new batch of stuff to learn in order to get people to notice your shop. I’m a little fish in a big pond! It’s very humbling.

I’d love to hear any advice from some of you who have had shops and have more experience. I’d love to hear about your successes and learning experiences!

Congratulations on opening your Etsy shop I understand how you feel I have just entered the Etsy world as well….I would plug my shop but it’s your story. I only have one thing for sale as being a mom of two as well as working full time. How did you go about deciding on a price for your dress. Btw I love your pinafore and choice of fabric. Is it one of your patterns? Congrats again! I you have any advice about Esty please fill me in.
