Welcome to Sew & Tell Saturday!
Where we can share our sewing projects and spread some good cheer by visiting each other.
I can’t believe it is already October!
I won a dress design contest sponsored by Amy Barickman, the creator of Indygo Junction Patterns back in March, and after receiving a much anticipated e-mail from them today, I will be drafting, grading and making drawings for my Patchy Dress Pattern that will be sold in stores this spring!
I also want to take a moment to invite you to my PATTERN DRAFTING Sew along this November.
I am working with Cal Patch, the author of the book Design It Yourself Clothes, to make sure everything goes smoothly. She will be available for advice should anyone get really stuck. After all, she wrote the book!
We will be giving a copy of the book away on the blog next week so keep your eyes peeled.

So let’s get to the featured projects from last week, shall we?

Kristin over at Skirt As Top has been running a blog series called Film Petit where she and some other bloggers make children’s outfits based on indie films. This month’s project was The Fantastic Mr. Fox and above are the outfits she made her kids. She is so talented.

Check out this gorgeous faux fur jacket Amy Stebbins. She has some serious sewing and design skills!
And on the home sewing front, these little potholders by Buzzmills just make me feel all cozy and happy.

Feel free to take a button if you have been featured.
