So You Think you Can Sew: I’m A Contestant!

12/29/2011

I know I was going to take this week off from blogging but I had to post to say I have been chosen to be a contestant on a blog contest called So You Think You Can Sew? hosted by Ashley at Mommy By Day Crafter By Night.Β !
I am so excited but a little ( or a lot ) nervous at the same time. And I am praying that my creative juices don’t run dry all of a sudden. I have some stiff competition and the first week’s theme starting next Wednesday January 4th, is Sewing For The Home. I have been racking my brain about what to make! We aren’t allowed to use any patterns in this contest so I will be flexing my pattern making and draping muscles.
Starting next week, myself and 11 other contestants will post a different project. We will be posting our projects on our own blogs but the voting will take place at Mommy By Day, Crafter By Night. If I don’t get eliminated the contest will be four weeks long with a new theme every Wednesday. You, the readers will be voting on your favorite projects so I am hoping you will all stop by and participate.Β
It should be interestin’ !
Please stop by next week and check it out!
